We’re in the UK Times! The World’s best new gins!
Terlingham uses their award winning Bacchus wine as the ‘magic ingredient’. This small batch gin is made with Rebel Distillers, who helped select the botanicals. The classic dry gin uses traditional juniper, with some locally sourced botanicals, including rhubarb and nettle, collected by hand in Folkestone. The Bacchus wine gives it a delicate sweetness, with notes of elderflower.Click here to read all about it!

Best Kent vineyards to support in English Wine Week

Top up your glass – and try our recommended standout sips – from one of these local vineyards. You’ll want to try their vegan-friendly 2019 Sparkling Pink made from a noble Champagne blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This sparkling wine won a Silver Award at the 2022 IEWA’s and is a beautiful rose petal pink in colour with a hint of cassis on the nose. We’ve made it into Countryfile’s top 10 best Sparkling Wines in England!
This vintage, made with the classic Champagne grape trio, won silver at the IEWA awards in 2021. It’s a soft sparkling wine, gently nutty, with flavours of apple blossom and a lemony finish. The mousse is fine and creamy – a real triumph. Click here
