IMPORTANT UPDATE
TERLINGHAM VINEYARD TASTING BARN
We are pleased to announce that the wine tours and tastings at the Terlingham Vineyard ‘Tasting Barn’ will be starting from Monday 25th May and will run for now, on Friday’s and Saturday’s and are timed at either 11am, or 3pm – other dates may be available, so please email on the address below.
Here at Terlingham, we love sharing our vineyard and wines and invite you to join us for an enjoyable vineyard walk and tasting experience (pre-booking essential). The vineyard walks and tastings start from £40.00 per person and group bookings are available. The tasting is held in our refurbished ‘Tasting Barn’ which sits overlooking the vineyard and the English Channel and includes six of our fabulous sparkling and still wines. If you would like to complement the tasting with a selection of cheeses, cured meats, breads, olives, and another glass of wine of your choice, the price for this would be £65.00 per person.
At Terlingham Vineyard, our wines are deeply rooted in the land and the principles of sustainable farming. From the start, we’ve focused on the importance of terroir—the unique combination of soil, climate, and natural surroundings that make each wine truly special.
We partner with Defined Wine to bring additional expertise and precision to the winemaking process, and we’re proud to work not only with our own vineyard but also with a small network of local, hidden gem vineyards, each with its own exceptional terroir, creating wines that express the beauty of this land.
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Certified by Sustainable Wines of Great Britain, we practice regenerative farming, which includes cover cropping to enhance soil health, promoting biodiversity, and protecting the ecosystem with minimal soil disturbance.
We minimise spraying and other interventions to ensure every step aligns with our ethos of stewardship. The vineyard is carbon negative, and we hand-label our bottles with paper-based labels. We are excited to be entering a new chapter under the ownership of Leaf Hotels Group, who share our commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and warm hospitality. As a family-run business, each glass reflects our dedication to quality, sustainability, and a legacy we are proud to share.
