We’re delighted to be working with The Fifth Trust, which runs Elham Valley Vineyard.

The Fifth Trust is a Kent-based charity that supports adults with learning disabilities. They provide day care services on two sites in the beautiful Elham Valley near Canterbury for over 150 students, offering a broad range of creative, horticultural and academic activities. Their students also work alongside their staff in the local community and in their social enterprises – the Vineyard Garden Centre, Café and Wood Shack carpentry workshop. Through these opportunities, their students develop essential life skills and the confidence to make their own choices, both large and small.

Elham Valley Vineyard is the beautiful backdrop to their garden centre and café. Tended by The Fifth Trust’s horticultural students, the vineyard produces excellent quality still and sparkling wines from Pinot Noir and Seyval Blanc varieties.

We are working with them to support them as they adopt natural farming practices, and will buy their harvest each year. We’ll share our resources and knowledge with each other, to help each other grow.
