Vineyard walks and wine tastings
Welcome in the New Year in style with a wine tasting and, weather permitting, a lovely gentle walk in the vineyard. This is currently by appointment only, so please book a place and we would be delighted to have you visit!
What to expect on the day:
We will welcome you in our warm and cosy winery and will then head out on a short guided walk through the vineyard, weather permitting, where we give you a behind-the-scenes view of how we use natural farming methods to grow our grapes.
The tasting is then held in our wine cellar where you will sample a selection of our still and sparkling wines. This is complemented with a warm, hearty soup and crusty bread, finished off with a tea or coffee and a slice of our cake of the day.
The tickets are £25 per person. We will kick off at 11:00 and will spend two to two and a half hours tasting, eating and relaxing! Please wear sensible outdoor footwear and a warm outer layer, as the vineyard is approximately a 500m walk away and it can be muddy! We only make 18 tickets available per day as we like to keep the groups small and intimate.
Parking is available but you may want to consider arriving by taxi to allow you to fully enjoy the tasting experience! We are 10 mins from both Folkestone West and Central train station.
Minimum age for wine tasting is 18. There will be non-alcoholic alternatives available for under 18s.
We look forward to sharing our beautiful vineyard with you! (Group bookings available). You can complete the contact form below if you’d like more info, or just give us a call on 07540853626.
Warm friendly accommodating and extremely hospitable. They made it a surprising lovely fun day with a fantastic wine tasting and lunch. The family run business certainly open their doors to visitors and go well and above to make it memorable. I wish them every success and yes the wine is fab especially their sparkling range. Thank you for doing everything to make the day special.
Get yourself on the tour and tasting day. Very informative and you get to drink delicious wine after a walk through of the preparation rooms and vineyard. If you are passionate about natural products, then this is the place to be. They even lay on a spread of cheese (the portions are huge)! Great place to spend a Saturday afternoon, fantastic views and the wine goes down very nicely. Don't forget to treat yourself to the 6 mixed bottle offer to take home with you. My favourite place to get away from it all and enjoy the peaceful country side with the girls (or guys) and the hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.
Fantastic wine tasting and tour! My partner and I loved it. Great little tour of the cellar and vineyard, very informative and easy listening for those (me) that know nothing of the wine making process! Really great set up with the tour, then tasting and a spot of lunch in the form of cheese (my fave), breads, olives, gherkins, & chutney, then tea and cake. We ended up buying one of each of the wines... very much look forward to cracking them open! Good job guys! We'll definitely be back!
